As the holy month dawns upon us, it’s time to reflect on the importance of Ramadan. At Ginco, we are celebrating the holy month by encouraging our staff to observe the mandates and respect the values of Ramadan. We are also hosting Iftaar in the evenings for our staff to acknowledge the management and employees for their sincere and continued efforts in translating the company’s vision into reality. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam and lasts 29-30 days based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon. During this time, the UAE is imbibed with the spirit of the holy month and muslims and non-muslims alike revel in the spirit.
